| About Us

We make a difference to the security and privacy of the information Australians entrust to charities, not-for-profits and schools.

| Engagement Model

CyberShield Nonprofit provides technical security leadership through a coaching-first approach. Our flagship cybersecurity maturity coaching engagement builds capability inside your team. Where you need work done rather than taught, you can engage our personnel to act as your security architect or security manager on contract, and we conduct security testing and consulting engagements at a fixed fee sized for nonprofit budgets.

| Our Use of Cloud Technologies

We live in the cloud and use cloud services for all of our business activities in order to break new ground and learn through experience for our clients. Examples include:

That first-hand experience is exactly what we coach nonprofit teams on — the same Microsoft 365 and Intune configuration we run ourselves.

| Responsibility

Green

Fair Trade

We only supply corporate merchandise and use products which are fair trade. That's pretty fair.

| Pro Bono Program

CyberShield Nonprofit is proud to be available to consult free of charge to eligible charities and educational institutions. Examples of services we can offer are consultation to schools around Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) to assist with minimising theft and graffiti, and advice to charities on credit card security and compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

World Vision Australia

Our principal consultant provided pro bono security consulting to World Vision Australia that assisted their IT team's understanding of the cost and architectural implications of their obligations related to PCI-DSS compliance.

"Matthew Hackling … delivered a high quality piece of work for our PCI-DSS program with the timeliness and detail we had hoped for in order for us to fill a gap in our understanding and internal capability."
